Fly Ash Dryer Brings about Great Social and Economic Benefits

Fly ash is the waste of thermal power plants, which not only covers a large area, but also pollutes the environment. But it's an important raw material in cement industry and building material industry. And above all, some raw coal even contains a certain amount of precious metals and rare elements, which is the indispensible source of raw materials for some industries. At present, the application of fly ash dryer not only turns waste into wealth, but also brings about social and economic benefits. This new type of FTM fly ash dryer is highly efficient, energy-saving, and environment-friendly.

The components of fly ash dryer includes heat source system, conveying system, drying system, dust removal system, stock bin and electronic control system. The fly ash dryer firstly sends the wet ash through the conveyor to the horizontal rotary cutter for breaking, in case that the blocky materials enter into the drying drum and affect the drying effect. Materials will be sent to the drying drum after crushed. There are many lifting boards inside the dryer drum, arranging in spiral. The continuous rotation of the cylinder drives the lifting boards to throw up and scatter. Moreover, the striking device on the cylinder wall will crush the materials again. The lifted materials will thoroughly contact with the hot flue input by the induced draught system to transfer heat, evaporate moisture and complete drying and then discharge from the outlet. The discharged dust-containing wet gas will be uniformly collected by the dust removing plant.

1. Material moisture is controlled under 0.5%, the first choice for fly ash and slag production lines.

2. Self heat preservation efficiency of the cylinder can reach up to 80%.

3. Run on coal, oil, gas and etc. as fuel.
